Reality Is Not Real: Survive
This piece has to do with the carnal and divine natures of humanity. Neither side is good nor evil, but the distinction rests solely on how an individual chooses to wield the power of either side. The dueling natures in this piece can be spiritual or they can be one's own interpretation of the human condition. Another interpretation is that of two distinct natures working together in unity to accomplish a certain goal. The carnal nature allows the body to survive, and the divine nature allows the mind to forever expand.

"Reality Is Not Real" is an ongoing series using dyslexia as an allegory for, communication, and perseverance. Being dyslexic myself, I create works through this lens as a way to comment on the tragedy of humanities inability to understand each other. These works are also painted with my opposite hand, which represents the understanding and exploration of one's own self as well.
