Reality Is Not Real: I Ain't From Here

Reality Is Not Real: I Ain't From Here
This piece represents a conversation between ones younger and current self. In this scenario the younger self has traveled into the future to relay a message in hopes of reminding the future self as to what their original purpose was/is. This piece is also a reflection of human duality, in that we are always in conversation with our own conflicting personalities/issues.

"Reality Is Not Real" is an ongoing series using dyslexia as an allegory for, communication, and perseverance. Being dyslexic myself, I create works through this lens as a way to comment on the tragedy of humanities inability to understand each other. These works are also painted with my opposite hand, which represents the understanding and exploration of one's own self as well.
